iPad download instructions

Thanks for purchasing a guide from the Acoustic Guitar store. Each guide contains several files, which are all packaged neatly into one zipped folder – this format makes downloading quicker and ensures that all the files you need are saved in one place.
By default, unfortunately, iPad will not recognize the zip format. We’ve found two ways to get around this, so that you can access your Acoustic Guitar Guide on your tablet.
Option 1
There are several free applications available that will allow zipped folders to be unzipped on an iPad. We’ve had luck using iZip, iBookshelf (for ePubs), and FileApp (for videos and PDFs). Please try one of these apps to open the zip file.
Option 2
Any desktop or laptop computer will have built-in capabilities for unzipping your download. So, the second option is to download on a computer and then transfer the individual files you want from the unzipped folder directly to your iPad.
